Cardon Cactus

OK, great, we stayed in a beautiful house and Baja is very scenic, but what were we actually doing there? I'll start with the "bat and cactus" work...Fred and Paul are studying a cactus called a cardon that's pollinated by bats. Cardons look a bit like saguaros but far less spiny. They are still really, really tall.
