Sonora semiannulata - Western Ground Snake

     1.  Highly polymorphic; several morphs being produced in the same clutch
     2.  Small, and secretive, highly fossorial habits
     3.  Shallow grooves on outer side of rear teeth suggest that the snake might have a mild venom
