The MEEG Facility in D421 consists of several very expensive and sensitive instruments. Every person wishing to use any of these instruments must undergo training from the MEEG manager. You are required sign in with your name, faculty sponsor, contact phone and you must have funds available for recharge. Your training will consist of learning how to use and care for the instrument. The MEEG manager is available by email (meeg"at"biology.ucsc.edu).
Fees are as follows, but please check with Kate for the most up to date pricing.
ABI DNA Analyzers (one run is 16 samples):
1-3 sequencing runs: $76.00/run
5 sequencing runs or more: $68.00/run
Fragment analysis runs: $36.00/run
I encourage you to run with other people to save funds.
FACSCalibur is $46.00 per hour run time.
