C40 Cities, an international group of the world's largest cities committed to tackling climate change in a partnership pledged to reduce carbon emissions and increase energy efficiency in large cities across the world. http://www.c40cities.org/C40

The California Coastal Coalition, a non-profit advocacy group comprised of 35 coastal cities and allied groups committed to restoring California's coast. http://www.calcoast.org/

Climate Challenge.org unites 42 organizations and over 625 local groups in 56 states and provinces. As a consortium, they have worked to pass hundreds of local and regional climate policies, and to build a movement for a just and sustainable future. http://www.climatechallenge.org/

Burning the Future: Coal in America, a film that examines the conflict between the coal industry and residents of West Virginia.

Cost of Oil: Voices from the Arctic, outlines the effects of offshore oil production on Alaska Native communities.

Insulate! details the creation of a community outreach project by students at Warren Wilson College, working in low-income areas of the community to install better insulation in homes. The project has been used as a model for the creation of similar programs at other universities around the country.

Fuel provides an overview of America’s complicated energy past and illuminates possibilities for a decentralized, sustainable, and achievable future.

Unlimited discusses renewable energy and other alternatives to fossil fuels, featuring presentations by schoolchildren as well as by energy experts

Third grader's question about soccer fields leads to UCSC science lab: Marine scientist Adina Paytan has a new collaborator: third-grader Claire Dworsky of San Francisco, whose winning entry in the Kids' Science Challenge competition earned her the chance to investigate her own questions about water quality in Paytan's laboratory at UC Santa Cruz. http://www.ucsc.edu/news_events/text.asp?pid=2956
